Here we go team. Given the multitude of RPs happening at any given time, I figured I might as well try my hand at GMing a story of my own. But this story, dear friends, comes with a twist!

Any soldier worth his salt can successfully dispatch an army of faceless goons, but what happens when your targets suddenly become a tad more human? It is a well known fact that in New Eden there are no 'right' or 'wrong' choices. Everything is a shade of gray open to interpretation. More than anything I want Alcyone to experiment with ethics. There will be times where you will be faced with a variety of choices that you may be forced to make, and not all of them will be easy.

Alcyone will focus on a team of skilled individuals infiltrating Shoashu Sasaanko, or "Snowfall Station" in the Tenal Region. A well traversed layover station by the Guristas, Shoashu has evolved over the years to become a one of the most exciting entertainment hubs across the sector. Whatever the vice, be it girls, drugs, or gambling, it can all be found in extreme abundance. And we are going to bring it all crumbling down.

The initial insertion will consist of your character pretending to enter a mercenary hand-to-hand deathmatch, forcing you to rely on your less modified 'baseliner' form to survive until clone reserves are secured. This will lead to a series of unconventional tactics, accidents, and deaths. So, so many deaths, I assure you.

Obviously to participate it is strongly recommended that you are familiar with all your New Eden lore and process a certain amount of creative talent.

If this interests you, feel free to respond with a modified Character Sheet. No ridged structure is required, but I recommend you stick to a system to maximize the effect and depth of your character. If enough mercenaries are interested, I will begin sharing more of the fine details of this story that I hope to experience with all of you.

History:

Galm Fae is one of those atypical hybrids of a disillusioned ruffian and a dutiful patriot. His previous connection with the Templis Dragonaurs (while not condoned) proved helpful in providing State intelligence with Mordu's Legion documents and transmissions up until his exile from Pure Blind.

Following a brief career in the Seituoda Taskforce Command, Galm deserted his corporation mere days before a public inquiry into war crimes committed by his unit in the Kor Azur region of Amarr space. The results of these inquiries however were regretfully lost in the weeks that followed during the infamous Purge. Having narrowly escaped death at the hands of deep cover espionage, terrorist cells, military tribunal, and political uprising, Galm fled into the Tenal region where he firmly planted himself in a Guristas spaceport. During this time Galm entered a downward spiral of drug and alcohol abuse to cope with the stress of both the Purge and the horrors he had witnessed in the Taskforce Command.

After months of making a cheap living by fighting in Guristas gladitor matches, Galm fell in love with one Niina Eskola. When she did not immediately reciprocate his feelings he left the station to return to a life of mercenary work. In time however, Niina returned to him with open arms and the two are suspected to have eloped in early YC116. It would appear that their relation has brought a degree of stability to Galm, who quickly came to own several small businesses while fighting as a freelance mercenary under Niina's Eskola Ergonomics.

Personality:

Previous medical evaluations revealed several issues in Galms original set of implants, leading to a 'mental hangup' in the transfer of consciousness. This lead to fits of rapid onset dementia and anxiety attacks, driving him towards drugs to combat this illness. In time this discrepancy has subsided, stabilizing his behavior to mild neurosis. This improvement seems directly connected to his relationship with Niina, and begins to regress if the two fall out of contact for too long.

Cunning, experienced, and jaded far beyond his years Galm has learn to transfer his utter apathy and contempt for his own life into a childlike disposition. Infinitely curious and easily entertained, he is perfectly capable of making his own fun and cracking a clever comment when the situation presents itself.

Role: Assassin

History: A young individual the age of 18, an average tone of common teens and mostly solitary especially in times of his side story. He is usually an antisocial type of person, especially meeting newer people in the universe except his sister. They have been family for decades since Aria has been ascended to immortality and him having a longer lifespan.

Orion and Acropolis, are once brothers of the same race until the State was under attack by the Federation in the war of Caldari Prime. Orion assigned a traitor agreement that he would reveal the whereabouts of the State homeworld and so declared this never-ending war under Gallente space.

I put in a personality this time although most of you know how I feel about that one. I have omitted his history for the time being as none of it has been revealed in any RP to date.

Appearance: Stands at 6’4” and weighs in at 232 lbs athletic build, has been described as lanky at times, light brown eyes, black hair (currently shaved, neatly trimmed beard). Slightly sunken cheeks, and a square jaw line.

Current military Insignia: Three diamonds stacked in a triangle, the top one is black and red while the lower two are a solid black and a solid red.

Role/Dropsuit: Jester is a soldier that specializes in adaptability. A Jack of all trades, as a result his loadout and role will vary depending on the makeup of the team or mission. Will probably be acting as a scout during this mission.

Personality: Like his role in combat Jester is an adaptable individual, capable of blending in with most groups. At times he can come across as a goofy or carefree. He has been described as simply meandering through life. Although he is a talkative individual he usually avoids speaking about his own past. Unlike many he does not view his immortality as a curse or a burden.

Other: Jester has a tattoo of the Salvation Angels logo on his right forearm. He likes to smoke clove cigarettes and can often be identified by their distinctive smell or a slight crackling noise.

I like this theme..... will be odd seeing what Kador does when confronted with every vice he ever condemned in one single place. It's also rather well known that Kador is also not a very good hand to hand fighter.

Dropsuit Appearance: On foot Kador often can be see wearing a traditional variant of the Assault Ak.0 Frame in the traditional Classiarii colour scheme of his order and is armed with a "Bloodgrail" Imperial Scrambler Rifle and a Burnscar Khanid Scrambler Pistol.
When operating a vehicle Kador uses a modified light frame studded with neural connections running the length of the spine that melds with the spine and allows information transfer directly into the brain. The True Adamance in its current iteration is a Khanid Innovations Gunlogi hull with an altered nano composite hull allowing for the fitting of high traction treads and drives as well as an Xt-201 Missile Array.

Personality: Kador is a serious individual with a great compassion for his fellow man, more over he displays a great deal of sympathy and care for mortals free of the burdens of immortality. He is typically grim or dour and is rarely seen to smile outside of the company a select few individuals, as a result most people consider him rather unapproachable, or cold, and as such is often the butt of joke about his lack of vices as he rarely drinks, does not partake or drugs, and has no reliable relationship experience.

He displays few forms psychoses or battle trauma due to a programme of regular psychological conditioning and a strict daily regime of heavy callisthenics, exercise, and prayer.

He also displays a significant knowledge of Sani Sabik cults and a particular hate for Blood Raiders and their offshoots, stemming from his time on Iesa III.

As a student of pre and post modern Amarrian history as well as a political student of his grandfathers Kador eschews direct violence when ever possible believing the sword is only a righteous means of conquest only when all peaceful means have been exhausted. This is derived from a strict personal code of ethics. To take a life without cause is to sin, to take life with purpose is to do justice to oneself and ones foe.

He is often accompanied by the Slave Satja Askarin (photo supplied as of YC 114 //: http://evewho.com/pilot/Satja+Askarii) however she is known to be within the Ammatar Mandate studying at a branch of the Consular University [location not disclosed].

Combat skill: Thal is an excperianced blademaster, having used a sword for about 80 years of his life. His normal role is a frontline soldier, willing to get up close and personal with his foe. At range he uses a scrambler rifle and SMG. He however isn't the best shot, and while he is capable, he is no expert marksmen.

Combat Role: Assault, CQB

History: Thal is the last member of the dishonored Holder House Vadam. His great-grandfather was a heretic who helped slaves escape from service. He was hunted by the Amarr and fled to the Minmatar republic. He kept his betrayal a secret to all but his firstborn son. For years Thal's family fought for the Minmatar, but he had a distinct love of the Amarr, so much so that he began to practice the faith in secret. The day came when Thal had to take up arms against the Amarr, until his father told him of his heratige. Thal was furious and in his rage he attacked his father. His father pulled a gun on him and shot him in the leg, knocking Thal out. When he awoke his father took him to the bridge and ordered him to destroy a Minmatar colony, in a mad scheme to restart the war between the Empire and the Republic. Thal lashed out against his father and In the chaos of the ensuing battle, the colony was destroyed along with it's 8.6 million inhabitants. He fled to the Amarr Empire in hope for salvation. He was accepted into the home of the Khanid Blademaster Tiber Kuul who taught him the way of the sword. He fought under the banner of the Imperial gaurd in command of Falcon Squad, and later applied for the Templar program.

Personality: Thal is divided into two mental states reflecting his Amarr/Minmatar background. His usual mental state is that of the soldier. In this state, Thal's existance is to serve the Amarr Empire and it's people. He is willing to lay down his mortal life to save those who he trusts, or cares about. His second mental state is the warrior, or his darker side. In this state, he is filled with an urge to fight, to test himself against stronger foes. While he still holds reason and logic in this state, he is far more violent and prone to anger. Fortunately, after his many years in the Empire, Thal has learned to control his warrior mindset, though it has it's uses sometimes. He speaks Amarr, Brutor, and some Sebiestor. He is one of the most capable melee fighters in the Cluster.

Glad to have all of you on board. It'll give it a little bit more time before moving forward on this.

And Aria... I really hate for this to discourage you from participating. Your writing style is decent, so it would be a shame to have you not participate. But there is an unspoken rule among anyone role-playing in Eve Online, and rule number one is that you are not a Jove. They have entirely receded from most empire space, and Templar One heavily implies that they have all been eradicated in a war against an artificial consciousness. Between Jove syndrome, Sansha incursions, and Sleeper remnants it is very likely that New Eden may never see a return of the Jovian Empire.

Much less as an immortal soldier requisitioned by the Caldari.

I hate to say it, but as long as you try to RP a Jove you won't be taken seriously. Whatever happens in that station will be pivotal canon to my character's story, and I don't to corrupt it with fluff. Either pick a different character, or change Aria's story.

This is fun! I need to get a consistent CS for this guy anyway, and there more of these I do the more I'll develop a full one. >:)

Green eyes, black hair, big ears, small nose. Thin lips, usually turned upwards at the edges in a small smile. Lean physique, not massively muscled.

Roles: Field Medic / Transport Dropship Pilot

History:
Freelance journalist who finds himself trapped in a station in Heimatar, cut off from all connections. Somehow gets involved in an underground criminal ring whilst trying to earn a living, caught, sentenced to death.

A Valklear recruiter intervenes, for reasons he still does not know today, and offers the path of a Valklear as an alternative to death.

He makes it out of training barely alive and wondering whether death would have been the better choice after all. As for the campaigns he undertook as part of the Valklears, there are few that he recounts. All he will recall is the story of how he, once again, faced death in one mission and was given a choice by the same character he had encountered so long ago. Death, or become an immortal clone soldier.

His brother, a capsuleer by the name of Revileushin Eyri, had this to say about him:

"Some say you tell past Valklears from the average soldier by looking for the resolve in their eyes. Vyzion did not develop such hardened resolve, but rather the training nurtured his natural curiousity, bringing a softer, more inquisitive light to his eyes. He worked, to the derision of fellow Valklears, as a medic for the force, enhancing his earlier knowledge of medicine, and developing a prowess in logistical warfare."

Personality:
Highly curious, open to learning. Seeks knowledge in all its forms. Also possesses a slight weirdness and eccentricity; mutters to himself about things he normally should keep in his head, for example. Spends extended periods of time quiet and musing.

Always willing to have a laugh, but can sometimes take things too seriously.

Jarrad Kirk grew up in a fairly healthy, stable environment as a child. As one, he spent most of his days dreaming about space, challenging his mind and hopelessly pursuing women. Being the product of strong Gallente bloodlines and Minmatar heritage he grew up with an understanding of the importance of freedom. He believed in the importance of individual liberty to the extent that he felt the need to protect it.

Despite his knowledge of despicable actions by the Federation's leaders he still joined the Federation's military thinking it was New Eden's only true hope for universal liberty and unity. While in the military Kirk became quite reputable as serviceman, far surpassing his fellow soldiers as well as his officers. He received his moniker of Sgt Kirk by leading his remaining squadmates alive out of a botched Serpentis Installation seize as a newly enlisted soldier. By the time he reached the rank of Sergeant Major in the official military he came to the realization that the Ideals the Gallente people and the Federation's leaders were two different things. Being given more and more assignments that were not in the interest of the Gallente people but for their leaders he became frustrated and tired of it.

Dropsuit Appearance: prototype amarr assault drop-suit, proto SCR, one book of faith attached via chain belt, one nanohive and uplink. proto SP, black market needle grenade (produces full sensory hallucinations. see pike landed in templar one for reference)

Role: Point man, light infantry tactics (get to the objective and smack them in face)

History:

Family unknown where killing during a capsularer attack on a mining station in a deadspace poket, after been mistaken for a second blood raider in base when in fact the minning station had been occupied.

Was rescued by a salvage crew and handed over to sisters of Eve (hence the surname eden) once the sisters a few years later handed David over to amarr as a DNA sequence was a perfect match at the age of 18 David enlisted into the army phyc profile indicated choice was motivated to hunt the raiders

At 21 was deployed and fort at pikes landing as part of raided reaction unit, mortally wounded during an early engagement by a tank shell though sense power of will held onto life till medics arrived, back in the medical evacuation point it was discovered he had the correct genetic makeup to be able withstand 1st generation implants, a senior officer immediately took control of the “body” all remaining duty post this point has been scrubbed from all systems, concord records highlight suspected Templar who disappeared during final battle however reports unconfirmed so its just rumours,
About a year after pikes landed David is spotted fighting for mordus legion under the handle steadyhand_amarr, steadys record shows he partook in every major clone engagement at this point including helping a large number of clones to mordus legion Evac ships.

Steady returning to empire during empires clone amnesty and underwent unknown treatment for the side effects involved in 1st and 2nd generation implants, during this period he successful infiltrated the remaining rouge templars units convincing them to kill themselves (was 005 why ccp wont give me my templar code :P). However it has been noticed this experience deeply has left steady with survivor's guilt. When Concord allowed clones to form independent units steady took work as a DA for the empire while joining official fronts as hire of betamax, and then imperfects.

During his time at the imperfects he has been noted to have been forefront of every major engagement providing valuable intel to empire in this time, however the events of CAL PRIME caused him to split away not long after, as a internal disagreement led to split among the members on which contracts they should take. Records show steady took Gal contracts where possible.
Steady was hired by concord for a one off operation to investigate a blood raider and guristas join venture into what appeared to be early teleport technology however the end results of combat operation are unknown.

Steady was placed under house arrest not long after but was “broken out” by an unknown force, he is now listed as a freelance agent wanted by concord for questioning



Personality:

outwordly laid back and sarcastic even in the midst battle, though anyone who fights with him knows he is one of most capable clones out their, gets the job with a ruthlessness only bread from been raised with the amarr. deeply faithful but not outwardly believing actions are how one shows true faith as anybody can memories lines, a true believer acts them.

friendly to all races include minmatar believing instead everyone is a child of god and amarr simply failed in their duty to enlightening them but believes they will find their own way to god now they have at least been introduced to faith. those who have worked with steady know this.

He gets the job done, Is fearless loyal to his team and perfectly able to kill you at any time of his choosing

General background.

Hya,salia was born in the great wildlands , a regular girl by all respects, her mother passed due to an unknown disease when she was 12. Nonetheless her method of working and fight resembles the things she learned from her mother; always treat others with respect and care.

At 18 she was accepted into the republic university, where she earned a degree in cybernetics and industrial engineering.

But her true passion was flying. Even then she was a proficient cargo pilot, able to get from point a to b with her cargo intact and on time. Those who she worked with liked her for her honest opinions on various matters.

Months before she graduated, she underwent a traditional coming of age ceremony for the Thukker tribe, often called the Ra'nnso io
ending with the volvual ceremony atop a grand mountain overlooking her village.at her graduation she received a gift from her father, a mammoth-class ship designed for hauling and dropping off cargo. The name was the Se'terra, a vessel that her father used when the elder fleet made an incursion into Amarr space, rescuing slaves and refugees.

Later on she would adopt her mother's teaching into her very way of managing the crew of the Se'terra, by a few years time, the crew of the Se'terra was a literal melting pot of cultures, each working together regardless of race and creed.

Would this station happen to have an external gondola system or fortified emplacements. I'd really love kador to do his thing as opposed to a contrived infant r y story on my part. I also relish the opportunity to throw kador into some tough scenarios.

I was going to surprise you, but I guess I might as well tell you. If you've ever seen the inside of an Amarr station you know that certain stations have roads that connect sections together and are frequently used for transport. The thing is... In a Caldari station no space is wasted. The roads that do exist are likely to be a twisting system that ducks in and out of buildings and through a system of tunnels. That being said, it is entirely possible that a tank could be commanded through the twisting halls of Snowfall. It's just it would be so chaotic no one would ever see it coming.

Which is exactly the point.
