It's getting rather irritating how a redline sniper can basically shutdown access to Alpha, because he has perfect view of hackers.
Please just add walls around or something like that to stop snipers from shutting down the point completely.

Confirming that I've sat deep in the redline with a sniper and completely prevented people from taking the point. Multiple times. With many, many kills.

I have as well. Definitely makes it difficult for the other team to get Alpha if you know what you're doing. Albeit, I have also noticed that the other team -usually- gets to Alpha before the south side gets to Bravo anyway so it never really bothered me too much - figured I was just evening the odds.

If you can sneak up behind C, across the road, you can acually counter snipe that sniper from right there.

Direct LOS on the point is ridiculously broken. Don't even try to pretend that's reasonable.

If you're on point defense, then you should keep a Remote planted on the objective, that way if they manage to survive, you can simply blow them up. Or if they decide to flux the console, wait for them to exit the terminal, snipe them, and then counter-hack.

Direct LOS on a Console is a terrible crutch. Sadly however, I doubt this will ever be fixed in DUST 514.

A good sniper can keep other snipers in check, I do it and have had it done to me. I have got to the point I do not bother with Alpha after the first minute due to being to open from the other side of Charlie. I run 99% Sniper and 1% Tanker at 3.85 (5900/1550) with 7 months playing and the Warbirds kill snipers easily.
